Hallo tarvos,
Viel Glück bei deinen Sprachen im kommendenden Jahr. Ich bin immer noch nicht zum Hebräischen gekommen, doch es wäre schön, eine Sprache zu lernen, die ich schreiben könnte, ohne alles zu verschmieren, was ich schreibe, weil ich Linkshänder bin :)

Here's the thing about reading in Russian:
прочитать - to finish reading something
почитать - to read a bit of something

More exactly прочитать means to read from the beginning till the end. Thus it is obvious
that the verb requires a direct object. I read from the beginning till the end a little
bit last night doesn't seem to be complete. To finish reading in a narrow sense is
дочитать. So when you say я прочитал сегодня такую-то книгу, it means that not only did
you finish this book today, but also started it.

Привет Tarvos! I'm on the second Russian team that has just been merged with the Мир.
Good luck with your Russian studies this year. I look forward to reading your updates.

Introductory Course to Modern Hebrew". Jag har bestämt för mig själv att inte använda
så-kallade ordlistor för varje lektion (jag kommer att skriva nya ord på hebreiska för
att lära mig alfabetet) men jag kommer att skriva ordlistor då jag har fria tid på
någon helg i framtiden.

@riff/ancpem1 Thanks! Same to you!

Good luck with your Russian and other languages, tarvos! I've started Russian last
November but I have other languages I've been learning for about the same amount of time,
so I have an idea of how much I have to run with Russian.

Hey!
I also want to wish you good luck with your Russian (and all the other languages you learn) this year. If you have
any questions regarding German, don't hesitate to ask me (in case you want to :) ).
