This is a long shot, but if anyone knows, it would be the folks on this forum. Is there any place online where I might be able to find TV series (any kind, I'm not picky) in Croatian/Serbian, with subtitles? The best would be English subtitles, of course, but any Germanic or Romance language would work too, and even subtitles in the language itself would be better than nothing. I've done several Google searches but haven't had any luck yet.
Relatedly, does anyone have recommendations for good TV series in Serbo-Croatian? Even if I can't find them online, I'd like to compile a list of suggestions for future reference.

Jinx, I've been looking around for Croatian TV shows as well. The only thing I've been able to find is that a lot of the Turkish dramas on viki have Bosnian subs.

Regarding BCMS subtitles for movies and/or series, try these pages:
Prijevodi Online
Podnapisi
The second site also has plenty of subtitles in Slovenian (and lots of other
languages), in case anyone is looking for that.
Regarding television series in that part of the world, I've never really seen a lot of
domestically produced ones, much less anything good, at least in the field of
television drama etc. There seems to be some interesting documentaries now and again,
though.
Older series may be alright in terms of quality, but there's the obvious problem that
it can be hard to find subtitles for them, just like for anything contemporary. I'd
still go for some of the old Yugo movies with subtitles, since they can be good
occasionally.

Has anyone watched Fine mrtve djevojke (Fine Dead Girls)? Croatian movie, 2002 about the psychotic landlady and the lesbians?
I have a question about the end. The English subs said one thing, I /think/ it's the same thing they say in the movie... but if that's the case, then I missed something..
I don't want to spoil it for anyone if they want to watch it, but if anyone has seen it, please PM me so I can figure this out!
LOL I don't know anyone else to ask and I can't find an answer on the internet!
