This came to me via twitter today: Yoda's syntax in other languages. If Star Wars in English watched you have, you know how Yoda talks in English- but do you know how he talks in Czech, Estonian, German, French, Hungarian, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Norwegian, Spanish, Tukish and Romanian:

"Romanian: An SVO language. Yoda speaks in OSV. He also places adjectives before the noun instead of after the noun, and uses an archaic form of the future tense."

His syntax in both English and Czech sounds a bit German or Latin to me.
