4.something scandinavian because I hear they're all mutually intelligible. probably swedish
5.either Italian or portuguese
but since so many scandinavians speak English supposedly maybe turkish for number 4

1. Russian: the cyrillic alphabet is nice, plus I think Russian sounds pretty cool
2. Spanish: widely spoken, I want to travel in South America
3. Italian: Beatiful
4. Something like a Celtic language, like Irish or Scottish Gaelic. It sound nice, and some of my Irish ancestors
spoke Irish.
5. Norwegian or anything Scandinavic

1) Italian - Because I'm hooked on it for some reason
2) Mandarin - Because loads of people speak it
3) Spanish - Because loads of people speak it
4) Cornish - Because I'm Cornish and can't speak my own language
5) Portuguese - Because there are loads of them in my town
or
5) French - Because I could be in France within minimal time from where I live in the UK.

1) French - So I can take advantage of the language learning materials they have.
2) Russian - Because I'm double majoring in Anthropology and Slavic studies, and Russian is sort of a must.
3) Icelandic - I actually have no idea why, it just sounds so awesome.
4) Hebrew - My in-laws and my best friend's girlfriend speak it, and I like the way it sounds.
5) Cherokee - I don't know why I want to learn this one either, I think its because I'm so intrigued my agglutinating languages and its so beautiful and natural.
Ideally, I would learn many more, but I doubt I will even be able to master these.

1. French - The culture and the great museums in France
2. Spanish - Because it's so much fun to speak
3. German - I love the grammar
4. Latin - Great foundation for other languages
5. Russian - The sound, the culture, the Hermitage...
