This is actually much harder than i expected...
1. Dutch 2. Spanish 3. Polish 4. Japanese 5. Norwegian The fifth language is hard to pin down though. French, German, both very practical, useful and fantastic as the languages pervade through many beautiful lands, and both have amazing literature and art scenes/histories... Native Language: English
1. Japanese - The language of my country of residence, the language of friends and lovers, and of my martial art. It also has some great literature. 2. Korean - The closest country and language to Japan(ese), I am enamored with the food and enjoy the similar to Japan but oh-so-different feel of the country. 3. Spanish - It's the language of bullfights and a whole continent of red-meat eaters. It's also the de facto second language of my country of birth (USA). 4. Italian - The beautiful language of a beautiful country with beautiful food. It would be replaced by Sicilian, however, if any of my still-living relatives spoke it. 5. Russian - It's a language that covers a lot of people and a lot of space, terrestrial and otherwise! Though minor, it also has some relevance in countries whose languages I speak/study. It's also got a new script and some good literature. 1 person has voted this message useful |
