True, but I don't want to learn it for the sake of the language, I only want to learn it because I need to learn something in school. I have no interest in German for German, like I do in the others. Looking into restudying it, I have no love for the language itself, and I think if I had been left to my own devices I never would have tried it.

OK if this is just hypothetical and the question which 5 WOULD I learn to perfection, it would be a pragmatic:
French
Spanish
Arabic
Mandarin
Swahili
And I guess the more realistic question of which five I would be most likely (Inshallah!) to learn to fluency... Probably swap Arabic or Mandarin for Esperanto.
