I have noticed lately every time I pick up a resource in any language within 30 seconds I

What kind of resources are you picking up? Grammars? Courses? Native materials? Is this more about a specific kind of resource that's not working for you, or does everything seem like too much effort?

Only pick up something you want to do. If you don't want to do it, there's no point

Try finding ways of rewarding yourself as an incentive.
I'm doing a 3000 piece jigsaw puzzle of Malbork Castle. For every hour of study, I reward myself with adding 1 piece of the puzzle. I've been doing this for a long time, and the satisfaction of seeing the puzzle take shape has kept me going. Rather than reward yourself for hours studied, it could be the number of books/pages read for example. And the reward can be anything. 3 persons have voted this message useful | |||

To be frank, unless you have a big basic need to learn a language, you are bound to go through these phases.
If you are learning as a hobby, I suggest you give it a rest. For a while, I was lucky enough to be interested in just one language at a time: for a few weeks, it would be Arabic, then German, etc. Then it all became boring at once. One thing I do is to read a book or see a film (not in my target languages) that may bring back the reasons why I wanted to learn these languages in the first place. You could for instance (I'm in the dark about your tastes) see The Saragossa Manuscript, or read The Count of Monte Cristo. Or you could just take a break for a while. :) In my experience, trying new techniques generally only worsens the problem, giving you that desert-crossing feeling. 3 persons have voted this message useful | |||
