You must be getting excited to be so close to the end of your active wave of NFWE! Is whatsisname still on his job search?
I'm impressed that you seem to still be doing one lesson every day. Just remember to savour the final chapters rather than rush through them. You'll miss them when you're done!

Jeffers - Yes, indeed! Yeah Jean-Michel is still waiting to hear back on his application :)
Mohave - Thanks for the kind words, I would like a bit more free time, but it is what it is.

Well this week has been particularly busy for me, we got internet connected yesterday and I've been
busy unpacking and trying to keep up with Uni work. I still managed to do some Assimil every day,
but not as long as I would've liked as the lessons are quite long now.
Due to the fact I will be finishing the passive wave later this week, I've been thinking of which course I
should do next, I could just concentrate on FiA while doing the active phase of Assimil, or I could
begin Assimil Using French, ideally I would like to do both (UF and FiA), however I just don't have
enough time to dedicate to both at the moment.
Assimil: Lesson 110 passive, lesson 61 active.
Week 16 27th April - 3rd May
Min time spent: 10 minutes.
Max time spent: 1 hour 32 minutes and 49 seconds.
Average time per day: 48 minutes 21 seconds.
Weekly total: 4 hours 50 minutes 10 seconds.
Yearly total so far: 98 hours 41 minutes 50 seconds.

Last week I finally finished the passive wave of NFWE, so there was a slight sense of achievement
finishing my first book. My university workload is starting to ramp up, due to the end of the semester
coming up (3 weeks), I'm hoping this won't disrupt my French study too much but the likely outcome
will be a reduction in my weekly study time.
Last week my girlfriend suggested to me that Wednesday should become a French only day, which I
think is a great idea, and would be great to end up with some sort of half the week in English and half
in French, but we'll take things slow and see how it goes.
I've been thinking of continuing with FiA in conjunction with the NFWE active phase. Once I've
finished the active phase of NFWE, I can think about starting Using French or FWT
Assimil: Passive wave completed, lesson 65 active.
Week 17 4th May - 9th May
Min time spent: 25 minutes 37 seconds
Max time spent: 1 hour 25 minutes and 48 seconds.
Average time per day: 48 minutes 18 seconds.
Weekly total: 4 hours 1 minute 34 seconds.
Yearly total so far: 102 hours 43 minutes 24 seconds.

Hey Meyers,
Well done on finishing the passive wave of Assimil NFWE! Good work. I think the idea of combining FIA and
Assimil is a good mix, and the idea of a French day/week (with a view to extending that further in tuture) is a
sound decision. Considering you've got other studies to contend with you're doing well to study as
consistently as you do. Keep it up!
