Hello Everyone! My name is Glen Luke. I've been studying Latin with Artes Latinae for about 1 year and 6 months. I've been studying French using The Learnables (www.learnables.com) for about 4 months, and I've been studying Indonesian using Pimsleur for about a month. I've always liked Languages, but I didn't really start studying them until my mom got me into doing Latin. Then I decided to study French because it has the reputation of being an educated language. Then I picked Indonesian because I read in Barry Farber's "How to Learn Any Language" that it was the easiest language to learn, and I had to find out if that was true.
My eventual goals (once I'm fluent in what I'm studying) include Chinese (Mandarin), Finnish, Spanish, Greek (Ancient) and Hebrew (Ancient).
My other interests include juggling/manipulation, hooping, yo-yo, music, reading, chess and breakdancing.

Wow, this post takes me back. Hi again, folks. ^.^ Fast forward a few years, and I'm
back again. I didn't stick with the language studies I laid out in the post, and looking
back, younger me seems a bit naive and over-enthusiastic. :P Anyways, I've been
studying Russian lately, and this time I have motivation to stick with it; my girlfriend
is from Estonia, and her native language (and the language her family generally
communicates in) is Russian. I've been working with the Pimsleur material (I'm halfway
through volume 2, currently) and some basic writing material I picked up while visiting
her. With a bit of luck (and a lot of work ^.^), this venture will go better than my
previous ones. :)

Welcome back. I have also spent time on Indonesian lately, but it takes more time than you would expect because the vocabulary is so different. Taking up Russian instead sounds logical when you have a whole family to talk to.
