This is a great method of learning, I did this several years ago when learning German (though not with Harry Potter), but based on Cymro's recommendation (and of course the fact that I like HP) I'm going to try each Harry Potter in a different language. An ideal plan will be:
1.Russian
2.Serbian
3.French
4.Italian
5.Greek
6 and 7 could be Romanian, Portuguese, Welsh or Latin depending on whether they get translated at all, in the case of the latter two, or which languages I get round to.

I think even if you enjoy a book it would get monotonous to read it over and over again, so with both native language and target language texts at hand it would be a lot more fun to read all of them.

The Latin translations of the first two books are available online. Do a search for 'Harrius Potter' :)

The French PDFs are floating about on the net, so I have them and am using them with LingQ. I've also ordered the book and CD, which turned up a few days ago (well, I ordered the "poche" version, which I regretted and have now placed an order for the "brochè" version...the whole ordeal cost an arm and a leg).

Apparently not, this website has started an online petition to have the books published in Esperanto.

They haven't been. At least some translation work has been done (by fans, unlicensed), but no one has been able to get translation rights to actually publish it in Esperanto.

I've started to really get into this method now. I'm still working my way through the first book in French (I've been a little lazy), and I'm considering buying them all in French, since the audiobooks seem to be better-narrated than others I've checked out. Really, the French audiobooks are just great.

So with that in mind, I'm going to order only the first book+audiobook in various other languages to help foster quicker comprehension. The first book is fairly short, and contains a wealth of new vocab for a beginner, so it'll be great for that. And I can also enjoy the remainder of the series in French with Bernard Giraudeau narrating awesomely.

Using the Harry Potter method I have become a virtual expert on the first two books, having read and listened to them dozens of times. At 50, it is a little embarrassing to be the family expert on Harry and friends.
