I normally buy all my books (and movies, etc) on Amazon. It has never failed me before, except when it comes to foreign languages. Is there an option to search for books in all languages? The only thing I can think of is to use Amazon.es (for Spanish books), but I'm guessing that would make me pay in Euros (I'm English) and would stop me from being able to buy the Spanish books at the same time as any English books.

Is there a way to use Amazon for foreign books? If not, is there a good website I can use to find books in foreign languages?

This kind of annoys me when websites just assume that people only speak or care about their native language.

I've bought Italian and Spanish books from amazon.co.uk
What you need to do is:
click on books at the top.
On the left hand side of the page click languages.
On the left hand side of the page scroll down to where it says stores, then click foreign language books.
Choose the language you want from the left hand side.

Hope that helps

Sometimes I found Amazon didn't show the language field (depends on what other filters
you have used). But you can still find the books. If you want specific books translated
from English into foreign language, try something like "Harry Potter in Spanish"

Also just "Books in Spanish" also produces results.

But the elsewhere thing I have found is to generally get the titles of the books from
elsewhere, and just check if Amazon has it in stock -

This is the best: http://databases.unesco.org/xtrans/xtra-form.shtml
You can search for translations into any language from any language. I use this to get
a list of books/authors or even to just find the name of specific book in a foreign
language

Original foreign language bookshops, in the foreign country are also good for these.
They are usually more expensive to buy (there is no Amazon.es for example, so I had to
look for other places, none of which seemed to be much of discount shops, and also
would have charged fortune for shipping to UK), but they are good for finding the name
of the books you might want.

Another place that sells foreign language books in UK is www.bookdepository.co.uk -
they are fantastic, and sometimes even cheaper than Amazon. Browsing is not that great.
I certainly find Amazon easier to search for books, but if you know what you want, then
Book Depository is a good place to check. I just bought three Spanish books from them.
