There was a book exchange thread about two years ago but I'd like to start a new one because the idea I have in mind is slightly different. Let me use an example to show you how I imagine it to work:
Person 1: offers book in English Person 2: takes English book and offers book in Hungarian Person 3: takes Hungarian book and offers book in Spanish Person 1: takes Spanish book and offers book in French Person 4: takes French book and offers book in Korean etc The information about a book offered should be as follows: - book title - summary of the book's content - will you ship the book worldwide or just to a country on the same continent (because of postage costs) It's not necessary to offer new books, good used ones will be perfectly all right, but perhaps you should tell the others when the book was (first) published. I'd volunteer to offer the first book and also edit this posting and make a list of the books offered and where they went to. If a book is offered and nobody wants it, I'd suggest that it's replaced by another book after a certain period of time. Well, that's the idea.
