Hello, good evening,

Recently I have started, almost as an accident, a collection of several translations of one of my favourite books, the Picture of Dorian Gray, as I thought it would be interesting, as a translator (or aspirant), to take a look at different versions of the same book in the most diverse languages possible. After collecting roughly 10 languages I thought it would be more challenging to actually start a language collection of the most translated book(s) ever, the Bible, as it's also easier to find and purchase.

I was wondering, do you also have any collection like this? Is it easy to find translations in less known languages?

Another book that has been translated into many languages is Don Quijote by Cervantes. I own it and have read it in Spanish and Portuguese. I have seen it at my local library in Italian, English, Japanese, Korean, Arabic, and Russian. I've also found it available online in Romanian, Dutch, Mandarin, Hungarian, French, German, Swedish, Norwegian, Danish, Catalan, Galician, and many more that I can't think of right now.

I have the first Harry Potter book in Dutch, English, French and German and I plan on one day buying copies in Afrikaans, Greek and Italian as well.
