I just thought I would introduce myself on here. I recently became interested in languages after being forced through the gritty course of high school Spanish. I still have my senior year ahead of me but since Spanish did not fit into my schedule I had to drop it. At first I was relieved I would never have to take a language again. But since then I have realized I actually have a passion for languages and I would like to have an understanding of a few other then my native tongue of English. So this summer I have picked up Turkish. I am studying it on my own as well as practicing with my Turkish friends who are here for the summer. I would also like to pursue Spanish some more on my own to solidify my knowledge as I have already had two years of it. I have a very very basic understanding of French, BASIC. When I begin college in a little over a year I would like to study German.
So the languages in order of priority would be:
Turkish
German
Spanish
French
and I would also like to learn some Japanese, Italian and possibly Korean at some point.
Thanks and I look forward to hearing from anyone!

Hello and welcome!
As Michael said it will grow over time, trust me it shall, everyone who loves languages simply cannot stop learning. I have known many people who uttered '' I'll learn up to 5 or 6 languages and that's all'', after they learn them they change their minds completely; '' 5 languages!!?Who the heck can live with just 5 languages?!That's knowing nothing, I need 20 at least!'' :D
When it happens that your list grows, pick Polish, Greek and Icelandic, you will love them :) And Japanese has indeed a complicated grammar, but once you get the hang of it, it becomes easier.
