Hello forum,
I am happy to be a member of this brilliant site. I found the page a while ago, and in my language material searches, it kept appearing all the time, so i decided to join. I especially credit the site for discovering assimil, a new tool for me, which may be my favourite program after the Michel Thomas Method. The most important factor for language learning success for me, has been knowing WHY i learn a language. When my why was strong, i had success. I studied English at school and i was one of the worst students. Later, when i had no more classes, the pc and internet entered my life. Pc games, books, cartoons, films etc, so i had many reasons to improve my English. C2 was a piece of cake, no sweat, and no studying at all. Y despues Español. Chicas latinas, muchos paises para visitar, el futbol mexicano que me encanta, la musica... I also speak a bit of french (i want to learn to speak this language good enough someday) and Italian(some family that studied in Italy speaks it). I currently study kanji a la Heisig and spoken Egyptian Arabic (just finished the Michel Thomas course). I have some reasons though not as strong for the other languages.
