Hello everyone.
I've been lurking on this forum for quite some time and thought it was time to introduce myself. I'm from California but I've lived in Sweden for about 2 years and plan on staying here for many years to come. I studied French and Russian for a few semesters in college in The States, but Swedish is the first language that I've actually learned to a usable level. I'm planning to take my C1 test in Swedish in May and then I plan to start studying an L3 actively, which will be either French or Russian. It's a choice that keeps me up at night. I've had a long love affair with both of them, but I'm half Russian and have many Russian friends so maybe that would be a better choice for me. Anyway, I just wanted to say hi and thank everyone on here for all the excellent advice I've read on this forum. This website is a really great resource for anyone learning another language. Welcome to the forum Melisse! I hope you'll find it useful to you. What a change for a Californian to be living in Sweden. How are you ever going to find good Mexican food now?
