Hello, I'm from the US, natural English speaker. I have been learning Spanish in school and a bit of
Russian on my own. I want to get more serious about learning Russian so I joined on here. I also love
military history and 1960s-80s rock n' roll. Anything else you want to know about me, feel free to ask.

Hey there fellow American newb,
Welcome to the forum and good luck on learning more Russian. I also have a thing for old rock music myself. I like
a lot of bands like Iron Maiden, Budgie and Black Sabbath. I'd list the rest here but there is too many to count on
both fingers and toes. Do you have any favorites?

Hello! You bet I do-Aerosmith, U2, Deep Purple, Creedence Clearwater Revival, The
Hollies, Lynard Skynard, Dropkick Murphys, Bad Company, Billy Joel, Johnny Cash-that's
who I like for the classic stuff.
I like a little bit of electronic types, like Binarpilot, t.A.T.u, and "Never
Surrender" from the Halo 2 soundtrack, as well as some Celtic music by Celtic
Crossroads, Dropkick Murphys, and others, and some symphonic metal by Nightwish.
In case you couldn't tell, I really like music.

I know this seems rather late but I have been working on a project. It's due April.
I like your choice in musicians, especially Johnny Cash.
Here are my choices for electronic music:
Giorgio Morodor
Kraftwerk
Throbbing Gristle
Yellow Magic Orchestra
Pierre Henry
Pierre Schaeffer
Silver Apples
Telex
Daft Punk
I'd list them all but it would be too long. In case you couldn't tell, I like music too.
