I just realised that I hadn’t popped in here to say hi yet, so here we go...
Hi. :)
I’m Rem and one of the languages that I’ll be focusing on this year is Czech. I have
no real ‘need’ to learn it, there’s just something about the language which appeals to
me.
I am learning other languages as well this year that must come first because
they are part of my formal studies, but I’m definitely going to give Czech the best
shot that I can. :)
I’m looking forward to seeing everyone’s progress with their respective languages. :)

Welcome, Rem!
I am already following your log from another team, but it's nice to know you're learning Czech. It's definitely a language I've always dreaming of learning.

I am also really looking forward to following your log for Czech, Rem - it's a language
that is quite high up on my list after I started learning it many years ago. I've always
regretted the fact that life got in the way and I gave up.
I saw in your log that 'Colloquial Czech' isn't inspiring you. I have their course for
Croatian and I thought it was absolutely dreadful, but I'm not sure whether that's
reflective of the series in general. When I started Czech I used the Teach-Yourself book,
which I thought was good for absolute beginners but the approach might be too basic for
people with more experience of language-learning than I had at that time.
