It is not directly related to learning languages, so I had no clue where to put it.
However, the question is related to languages...
I mean, English-language stories (or movies) often have this thing called ratings. I understand what they are and what they denote. However, as there is no equivalent in Polish nor Spanish...
I am looking for sources/people who could explain how do I choose the right rating for my story. So far, I've been doing it based on guesstimates... :)

The American system is the standard. Just because other countries have their own system for movies, doesn't mean common people know anything about it. I've seen some abbreviations in Russian magazines but fiction writers don't use them :D Also, sites that are strict about it will specify what you should use.
