Are any of you rascals coming to Vancouver for the 2010 Olympics?   If so, I would be pleased to try to answer any questions you may have (other than "Where is the snow?") about the city, getting around, why Canada is so awesome at hockey, etc.

If you are coming for the event, we would be very delighted if you would please bring $5 billion dollars and buy lots of trinkets, so that we can deal with the anticipated financial shortfall.

I live closeby (Washington state), but honestly, I just don't want to have to deal with all that traffic! It's going to be ridiculous! I love Vancouver, but I'm staying away. :P

Because all you have is ice up there and you have nothing else to do other than play hockey?

Nah, but I'm staying home in my (not-so-warm) North Carolina. Gonna watch the Olympics, I love the Olympics.

I live in Vancouver, and I'm very excited :) Even if it is an expensive ordeal, we're in it now, might as well have a
blast (at least this is my philosophy).
On a relevant note, I definitely plan to check out the French Quarter on Granville Island.
