Just wanted to give a quick recommendation for filling in language profiles.

I don't agree with all the criteria, but it certainly makes you stop and think about what you're doing.

If you don't want to share the details, you can always just work through it but not save the changes.

It's good to stop and reflect on what you can do from time to time.

I only speak 3 languages. Mine would look very bare compared with you!

I looked at mine and decided I'd been kidding myself for a while and need to work harder on them

I did the same for my own profile. :D I think I should focus on 1-2 languages at a time until I really become good at them. I'm in no rush, I hopefully have many years ahead of me to study :) so a little solid progress everyday is great for me. Besides, I only have 5 more to study. :) lol

I can't find where to change the languages I know/am studying. Maybe it's only available to premium users. I've started studying Spanish (I consider myself intermediate at this time; I have a good grasp of the grammar, but my vocabulary isn't really up to par). I also want to start on my German tapes again (I just bid on a cassette player on eBay); maybe with years of Esperanto and my recent introduction to Spanish, I can succeed this time (I was overwhelmed by it when I started it up 15 odd years ago, but a couple years ago I went through the basic course on German.about.com and I did recognize some of the same concepts from Esperanto (though of course, German implements them in a much more complicated way), so maybe it will be much easier this time). If I ever were to become fluent in either of those languages (or another one I take up in the future), I'd really like it to be reflected by my posts.

You should be able to change your list of languages by clicking on the "Languages" link after having clicked on "My Profile" at the top of the screen.

Chung is right! You can change your languages by clicking the "Languages" tab after clicking "My Profile." From there you are able to add a new language by clicking the "Add a new language link" at the bottom of the page, or click on an existing language then hit "edit" to change it's status :)
