I've got aunt who lived in France and know French. She told me that I can visit her regularly to talk in French. It helps me a lot, but I think that I don't get the most of this opportunity. We talk about nothing in particularly and I don't prepare to much for this meeting. She know French very well, but even she studied grammar in the past, often she can't explain me things, because she forgot a lot. She just knows.
How that kind of meeting should look like to get most of it? How should I prepare for it? I've done assimil French with easy year ago, and now I'm reviewing it. After I finish reviewing it, I'm going to start French in use assimil. I supposed that I have something around B1. I can have basic conversation, and express myself slowly.
I appreciate all tips, and thanks for advance.

edit:she isn't native of French.

Try to focus each of your meetings on a particular topic in order to learn vocabulary, or make a list before
hand of the structures and the words you would like to learn and try to use them properly during the
conversation with her help. She might help you correct mistakes in your speech or in small texts you might
submit to her, even if she can't give you the grammatical explanation she can spot your errors and you can
learn from that (making lists...)

Besides meeting people who speak French regularly, you can talk to them by phone. If someone uses E-
mail, 2 people can exchange messages online so that the French speaker can correct grammar & word
usage. You don't have to wait for a face-to-face meeting.
