This is a bit discouraging. I was hoping that the tourists who say everyone in France

Ha! I sometimes wonder how people who complain about French customer service feel about shopping in Scandinavia. :) Whenever I go back to visit Sweden these days I am struck by how "impolite" average Swedish customer service is compared to French. Meanwhile, I've definitely not lived in France long enough to assimilate in that respect. I still have trouble figuring out when and when I am not supposed to greet random people in uniform (stocking shelves during rush hour - no; stocking shelves not during rush hour - yes, probably; but am I supposed to say hello to the in-store fishmonger when I pass by, if he is not busy, even if I am not buying fish, or is that just weird - no clue). 1 person has voted this message useful |
