I would like to express my deepest gratitude to any member who took part in this discussion.
You are all very helpful and I've seen both languages from a new perspective. Thank you!

It turns out I will try and learn ... BOTH :) I simply can't decide right now - I should get involved
in learning both languages and make a reconsideation of what will follow.
