Alright I'm gunna do it. I will CONCENTRATE on my studies... but it's tough for me. I
suffer from SEVERE procrastination and often do not practice my Italian because I get
sooo Lazy. I have dabbled in other languages too and the problem is the same.
I hope I'm not unique in this problem and hope that I get some help and support!
Current Standings: I am at an upper intermediate/ lower advanced level in my
Italian and want nothing less than fluency by the time I'm 25. Right now I'm 17 and
hope that this is an achievable goal. I've been studying off an on since I was 16.5 and
still find that I am lacking in fluency.
Goal: I hope that by daily logging my activity will help me focus more on my
studies
Methods: - Italian movies
- Italian news
- Italian converation
- Live streaming TV
I also hope to write daily in Italian, which is the thing I have been practicing the
least.
Vi ringrazio per avendo letto il mio log e spero che voi abbiate qualche cose che mi
potrebbero aiutare a megliorare il mio Italiano. scriverei piu', ma gia' e' tarde ed ho
scuola domani. A domani!

You're not alone, brother, lol. I don't know what you consider upper intermediate/lower advanced but I believe you should wait a little with writing so you can concentrate more on listening and reading. It is also easier to do if you're really lazy.

It's pretty slowed down right now since I've got exams, but it's been going well. I
recently discovered lang8 and found it to be an excellent way to practice writing! I also
began watching game of thrones in Italian!

Oh, I love that show. I've found that watching TV in my target language is really helpful for picking up lots of everyday stuff that books just don't teach you. I'm sure something native would be *better* but anything that will keep your interest is *always* the best. :)
I'm looking forward to TAC 2013. I think you're on two of my teams, Pax and Russian. I think 2013 is going to be the year of the Romance languages. :)

This is the best sight by far for people who want to watch Italian tv that I have found.
It is LIVE streaming http://www.respirotv.n.nu/
I'll put this in first post too

That's what I like - honesty! I think all of us suffer from "severe procrastination" at times.

Not at all! Make an effort to post at least once a week, and I (and I'm sure the rest of team PAX) will help.

I think that's a very conservative goal. You should have no problems if you stick with it! Good luck!
