I'm a girl, and I love watching しょうねん anime as much as しょうじょ. I love how the story
lines/plots develop, regardless of the premise, and there's always something
interesting and unpredictable going on, even in the types people would call boring. I
watched Dragon-ball growing up, too, so I have great and happy memories with it, even
though I'm not really trying to re-watch it at the moment, haha.
Did you see Darker than Black? Just finished watching the entire series in two days,
it's just so interesting! And Death Note! And Bakuman, you should totally check it out,
it's a masterpiece, as far as anime goes. Bakuman and Death Note are both created by
the sme mangaka, two of them. I loved Kaichou wa Maid-Sama!, which is shoujo and mushy,
but I just loved it, and it also incredibly hilarious! :) Hmm, what else? Oh, Rurouni
Kenshin is a classic, too, and I'm working my way through it. There's a film coming out
for it soon, so that should be interesting. Hope you find them as interesting as I do!

Yeah I've seen darker than black and it's really awesome. I've forgotten enough of it that I might want to
rewatch it again. I haven't seen bakuman but I've seen the name around a lot - it's on my list of things to
watch.
Yeah I've been watching Rurouni and I think I'm halfway through the series. Unfortunately I mixed up the
DVDs I copied and I don't know what episode I'm on... Ugh. Annoying. I heard about a live action movie for
it and I'm really curious. I should probably get down to business and finish watching the anime.
And yes death note..really good. I can't stand the sequels to it though. I think the live action movie looked
good but somehow knowing the plot already ruined it.. But not having seen death note in a while maybe I'd
really like it.

Well having not slept I didn't force myself to study even through my sleep deprivation. I allowed myself
a short respite and have bee reading the latest Stephen king novel. Damn they're long. I'm more than
halfway through. Ill be hitting the japanese again tomorrow again assuming I get a bit of sleep.
Discipline... Argh. This entry I'm typing on my mytouch 4g in bed (cell phone). I did the pre, vious entry
on my ipad 3. I hate typing on that thing. Well in bed anyway. Its a bit better on a table. Over the
weekend I got an email that a classmate was starting in on the exercises in the textbook for next
semester... Didn't really expect that it caught me offguard.. I'd hate to get behind so I'm going to use it
to motivate me heh. Hope they get really far into it.
Got my eye on the new samsung galaxy 3. I was thinking it'd be nice to have a pocket size device that I
could use lang-8.com with. They seem to have a mobile version of the site but editing entries is so
frustrating you have a lot less control over underlining and crossing out its all automatic. I don't think
the new phone would make it that much easier but man its tempting. We'll see. If T-Mobile has a good
deal...
Been editing peoples entries on lang-8 and getting friends. That site is really good for japanese learners.
It seems super easy to meet people. Ill see if I can actually skype people though. I've heard its hard cuz
people are shy (me too so Ivan understand that).

You sound like quite the techno-junkie :)
I'm still in love with my laptop and I got it a year ago, maybe more. It's the first time I've had my own computer since the 90's.

It's been a downward spiral for me in that regard since I got my ipad about a year ago. I resisted the
whole smartphone thing for the longest time.

Weekend:-) . I'm psyched that the new samsung galaxy s3
came out. I'm not so
happy about the price. T-mobile already sold out of the
32 meg version even over
priced as it was. Damn. I wonder if people see how the
contracts they offer aren't
discounts at all but just loans that you pay back.
How does that affect japanese? Well I'll be using it for
posting on here obviously
and also on other sites like lang-8.com and I'm sure ill use
it for others. So that's
how heh. And I think its will do a good job with skype
with its 1.8 meg front facing
camera if I get the balls to skype people in japan.
With some help from the apps author I got rikai-sama
audio into my decks and its
not terribly time consuming either. This is with flashhcard
deluxe, not anki. I'm
pretty excited about this. I had it working with a deck I
think for chapter 2 of potter
and tomorrow I'm gonna go in and redo a lot of decks so
they have native speech.
The tts engine with the app is 1st rate but native voices
are the best. By far.

Where do you find Rikaisama? It's a firefox add-on isn't it? I keep searching for it, but I can't find it. I only have Rikaichan.

Rikai-sama
If you go to Google and type in Rikai-sama it's the 1st result that comes up too. You have to uninstall Rikai-
chan to use it though which I didn't know the first time I tried. It uses the same dictionary so you can keep
that. It's a fantastic add-on. I can't believe it's free. I also find it hard to believe that the voices are available
free courtesy of the folks at Japanesepod101.com. I really can't believe that part lol.
