Murdoc, the word გვემახსოვრება doesn't exist? I see that დამახსოვრება is correct, but I wonder if there is a case when გვემახსოვრება should be used.

It does exist. It's in future continous tense and means 'we will still remember, we won't have forgotten'. E.g. ეს ზაფხული დიდხანს გვემახსოვრება - We will remember this summer for long time. Not to mix up with 'დავიმახსოვრებთ' - we will remember (we will make an effort to keep it in mind). I was reading Expungnator's log and he asked something about the word manqana and how you
have to use "mkavs" with it. So it made me wonder, is that word always considered "alive," so to speak? Like for example, you only use "arian" with animate things, right? So would you use it for "manqanebi"? I hope that makes sense. 1 person has voted this message useful | ||||||||||||

Well I haven't updated here recently, so I will try to write something short! I was
trying to do it in my Russian log, and I realized how much more I can say in Georgian! Seems odd, but I guess it's just because I know more useful words in Georgian. ეხლა პროგრამას "დიდ შაბათს" ვუყურებ ტელევისორში. ეს არის ამერიკული პროგრამა, მაგრამ ესპანურად არის. სასაცილო პროგრამაა, და ვუყურებ ყოველ კვირას. ესპანური კარგად მესმის იმიტომ რომ ესპანურს 5 წლის ვსწავლობდი სკოლაში. კალიფორნიაში ვცხოვრობ, ამიტომ ბევრი ადამიანი ესპანურად ლაპარაკობენ. That's enough for now. By the way, I feel like I use aris and es aris when I could just use "-a". So tell me what you think! :) Also in that one sentence I was trying to say that I studied it for 5 years. I don't think what I wrote makes any sense... On an unrelated note, I just have to say I was watching Eurovision and now I really want to go to Azerbaijan! I'm gonna go to Georgia anyway, so I might as well. It looks so pretty. Maybe I should learn some Azerbaijani, too! ;) Might as well throw a little Armenian in there too, so I'll speak all three of the major languages. I should have no problem learning Armenian here (I live in a place with thousands of Armenians. We even have an Armenia town, like Chinatown but with Armenians!).
