Thanks! Actually, I just noticed, I wrote gamarjoba in the diary not gamarjobat. I forgot
about those verbal nouns. I need to learn those...

Haha, I love your dream about Kalbatoni Dodona! She will be figuring heavily in your life for the next few
weeks or months, so it probably won't be the last. By the way, I really think the dialogues in her book (and
also in the Continung Course she wrote with Aronson) are the best I have ever seen in any language
textbook, so we are lucky to have her. When I was in Tbilisi in December, I saw a guy come out of a "tone"
with two delicious-looking lavashi, and of course I remembered that chapter.

Yes, the dialogues are very good! The whole book is good. Actually, I have another
Hippocrene book that is just like the Georgian one and I love it. Pretty funny, too. And
I can't wait to go to Georgia and eat tonis puri and khachapuri! Also, do you know where
I can get that Continuing Course book? Amazon says it's out of print. :(

Yeah, the Continuing Course is like gold dust to us Georgian learners. If you write to
or phone the publisher they actually still have a few copies in stock so they will send
you one. I paid a lot for postage but since you are in America I'm sure it will be quite
reasonable for you. It's a bit of a strange book, not hugely useful, but at the beginning
there are over 100 pages of dialogues which are really fantastic practice. Worth getting
hold of a copy for those alone.

zecchino1991:
If you ARE interested in joining a TAC team, have a look at "Team ɬ", led by Paul Lambeth. I'm pretty sure you can still join if you want. And I'll repeat that it'd be great to have a fellow Georgian learner on the team!

Oh, now I know what you are talking about. I'd competely forgotten that I posted in that slavic/Romance
TAC team thread...You see, when I did that I had no idea what it was for. If I do join one, it will probably be
the rarely studied languages one. Sorry for the confusion, I should have figured out what it was before I
posted there.
