This reminded me of Gomorritis' thread of Greek song lyrics.

Are any of you singing in Greek yet? :)

Singing can help when learning a foreign language

Shame on me for creating it and not updating it! Anyway, I'm leaving for Skopelos tomorrow, maybe when I come back I can add some songs.

It seems our team is not very active, but in case anyone is interested I have found a new
resource for studying Greek. This one is for A2 level. It is called
L-Pack.

I haven't explored it too much but it seems quite thorough with videos on YouTube, audio
on SoundCloud and a freely available text.

Also available for German, Italian, Spanish, Czech and Lithuanian.

Enjoy!

Hi embici. You are right, the Spartans have not won the battle this year. Not even sure most of us are in the fight any more:-(

However, I have signed up again with Greek for the TAC 2014, and I am waiting to see if there are enough others interested for a team to be formed.

Thank you for the link to L-Pack. It seems like something that can come in useful as a supplement to my other learning material in Greek. A solid A2 is what I aim at achieving next year.

I am still here, and I have kept my log going, but since I have not done any actual Greek study since February, when things went spiralling out of control, I do not think I even qualify to be part of the team anymore...

I apologize to my teammates for not showing you much support over these past several
months. Even though few have continued with Greek, I really wish I'd found the time to
check in on everyone's progress and provide moral support.

Hopefully 2014 will be better for everyone!

Ευτυχισμένο το Νέο Έτος!

Who is still studying Greek? I haven't really studied in the last year (since I went to Greece in July 2013) , but I have done enough to keep it alive and not to forget what I knew. Last couple of weeks I started listening to Greek during my long walks (Greek101 podcasts, audio from 'Ακου να δεις 2 and 3, HAU podcasts...). Maybe it's time to restart my Anki vocabulary learning too.

In September I am going to Greece (4th summer in a row!), Corfu this time.
