I'm crossposting from the general section:
I've put a survey online where I want to check language intuition in a Scandinavian language. The example sentences are in Nynorsk, but they are quite easy, all the regular contributers in this thread would probably have no problem understanding those. (give or take a few words, but that doesn't matter)
So if you have a few spare minutes in the next few days, please just fill out as much as you care.
Here is the thread in the general forum section:
http://how-to-learn-any-language.com/forum/forum_posts.asp?T ID=40547&PN=1
And a direct link to the survey on my homepage: http://www.coli.uni-saarland.de/~stefane/
Thanks!

Seems like an interesing idea. I'll take the survey asap. Do you want me to let my colleagues do it too?

June Challenge
First of all, kudos to the brave ones who have recorded themselves and posted their efforts online! Well done, guys!
Since I don’t have that kind of courage, this month I’m opting for the input alternative. I must admit that I had never explored the vlogosphere before and it was quite funny to have a look at what might be found online.
In the spirit of this forum, I’ve decided to link to a couple of vlogs that are almost didactic in their structure and are quite accessible for learners of Swedish :
Hur mycket kan jag om min pappa?
Hur mycket kan egentligen min pappa om mig?
They feature a father and daughter asking each other questions about one another to see who knows the other best. The questions (but not the answers) are easy to understand even for beginners since they appear on video in the form of subtitles.

I don't know how I got there... but who watches things like that?:

Funny the first minute, got annoyed after 5 minutes, and this madness goes on for 35!! minutes.

June is over and with a new month come new challenges (wow, that sounds so philosophical, but I mean it literally).
Congratulations to all those that completed the June Challenge! At least for me it was the most challenging one so far.
Do you guys have any ideas for our July challenge? I was trying to come up with something but I temporarily forgot, but it can wait as well.
