That's good to read, jeff, consistency plays a big role, especially when you already have an understanding of the language.

#1 done: added a short description and the link to the challenge's post.

I... I... I just have to ask, although I'm not sure I want to know, did you mean to describe Swedish as a sexual predator?

I... umm... yeah...

The only reason I'm learning Danish is because I like it. Two years ago I happened to see a Danish course at the library and checked it out because I wondered what it sounded like. It sounded odd. It sounded so odd, I decided to study it.

I don't know what to do now. Maybe I'll keep reading Harry Potter and watching Danish movies and TV series. The pronunciation is hard. I'm beginning to doubt if I'll ever be able to speak properly.

land.

I learn Norwegian because I think it´s a beautiful language which sounds exotic. It´s not the first time I 've
tried to learn Norwegian but I hope it´s for good. Unfortunately, I understand little. I would like to be able to
read books in Norwegian and, who knows, travel to Norway again. I was lucky to travel to Norway when I was
still a teenager and it has made a strong impression on me. It´s a real dreamland.

85 words in Norwegian and I feel like exhausted, I really need practising :D

Translation:

Oh dear, which language to choose? I could probably also write this in Norwegian but I
have chosen Swedish for simplicity's sake. I don't actually have any concrete idea how
to use my languages in a suitable way, but my Swedish is good enough that I can read
pretty much everything without problems anyway (and this holds to a lesser extent for
Norwegian, as I don't consider Danish a language I'm studying). I often write on my
blog in both languages, although my Swedish is better because my Norwegian is often
more svorsk.

I don't even really know why I began - probably because I could, but it turned out to
be so cool that I continued.

My January Challenge

I think Norwegian is an important language for me. I wish I could write in Norwegian without mistakes, but this day is still far away. But I do believe I could talk to people entirely in Norwegian if I arrived in Norway right now. Maybe I could not understand everything that people would answer, but I could talk about the most important topics without having to resort to English. I am looking forward to being able to speak Norwegian fluently, and I study every day in order to reach this goal. I read books in Norwegian and watch TV - still with subtitles, but I will try to do it without them, in order to realize how much I can understand of the actual language. The most important now is to write and speak Norwegian, after all one needs pratice in order to learn a language. I like Norwegian, Norway and I want to understand more about the Norwegial culture and state.
