zecchino, do you also know the 200 hours familiarization course? It's more comprehensive than Peace Corps, and it comes with exercises, even though the audio is not available around there.

I decided to write something... it's kind of silly but I was bored! ;)
დღეს უნივერსიტეტში წავედი. იქ დინა ვნახე. თუ არ იცით, დინა ჩემი რუსული ენის მასწავლებელია. ის არ არის კეთილი ქალი. როცა რუსულად ცუდად ვლაპარაკობთ, (this is where I got stuck! I want to say "she gets mad at us"). მაგრამ ზოგჯერ დინა მომწონს. როცა გაბრაზებული არ არის, ძალიან სასაცილო და კეთილია. იქ არის ჩემს კლასში ბიჭი რომ რაიენი ქვია. დინას არ უყვარს, იმიტომ რომ სულელურ კითხვებს ყოველთვის კითხავს. იქ არის კიდევ ერთი ბიჭი, არტიომი ქვია. დინას ისიც არ უყვარს, იმიტომ რომ მის დაშინაო სამუშაოს არასოდეს არ აკეთებს. I was kind of confused about whether to use misi or tavisi in that last sentence. I wanted to say "he never does HIS homework," but I can't tell if it sounds like that or like "he doesn't do HER (Dina's) homework"... გვიბრაზდება ხოლმე.
ჩემს კლასში არის ბიჭი რომელსაც რაიენი ქვია. "იქ არის" is not used in the way as "there is" is used in English.
იმიტომ რომ სულელურ კითხვებს უსვამს ყოველთვის.
You should use "თავისი" because it refers to the subject in the sentence (Ryan not doing his homework). "მის" refers to the object (not doing Dina's homework). Homework - საშინაო დავალება
'radgan' is way more formal than 'imitom rom'. I can't think of any other specific differences. ... Really good job, you have written quite complicated sentences. 1 person has voted this message useful |
