Ok: Drumroll....
I am ready for my first Greek challenge - a presentation of myself. Please correct it, and please be gentle :-) Γειά σού! 1 Με λένε Κριστίνα, και είμαι άπο τι Νορβηγία. 2 Είμαι παντρεμένη και έχο δύο κόρες.. 3 Τιν πρότο μου τι λένε Κατρίνα και τιν δέυτερο μου τη λένε Μαρτίνα. 4 Άντροπος μου τον λένε Kjartan (*1 ) 5 Εχω μία αδελφή. 6 Αυτί είναι δασκάλα, και εγό είμαι δασκάλα. (*2) 7 Το σπιτι μου μικρό. 8 Ο κήπος μου και μικρός αλλα όμορφος Χαίρετε! (*1 - no way I can write that in Greek...) (*2 – I am not really a teacher anymore, but “Head of Section International Affairs at the Norwegian Rail Infrastructure Manager” is soo not part of my Greek vocabulary yet). 2 persons have voted this message useful | |||

There is only one R in greek, and only one way to pronounce it, the one you already know.
@Cristina Γειά σας! 1 Με λένε Κριστίνα, και είμαι από τη Νορβηγία. 2 Είμαι παντρεμένη και έχω δύο κόρες... 3 Την πρώτη μου τη λένε Κατρίνα και τη δεύτερή μου τη λένε Μαρτίνα. 4Τον άντρα μου τον λένε Kjartan. 5 Έχω μία αδελφή. 6 Αυτή (η αδελφή μου) είναι δασκάλα, και εγώ επίσης είμαι δασκάλα. 7 Το σπίτι μου είναι μικρό. 8 Ο κήπος μου είναι μικρός αλλά όμορφος. Χαίρετε! I used plural for the greeting, for obvious reasons. Besides at the end you greet us with plural. Be careful with the endings for genders and verbs. The husband is o σύζυγος. The word you used is not wrong, in the sense that he is your "man", but it's better to say σύζυγος or άντρας/άνδρας. Αυτή is rude to use for a person, not wrong though. Better say "my sister..." To renaissancemedi or anyone else who may know...
What is the word in Greek for "partner" in the sense of life partner, common-law spouse, etc? That is, for those of us who are not married legally, but share a life together, have children, etc., how should we refer to each other in Greek? Cool resource, unfortunately for me the coursebooks are entirely in Greek and i can barely understand any of it.
