Thanks for those tips, Crush. Since I've already seen some of those films on your list I will trust the rest of your recommendations. :)

I was surprised to find this vocabulary quiz site has Greek as one of its 11 languages.
A nice little fun find: https://babadum.com/

Nice game, thanks! I don't like much the pronunciation though, he speaks like he has a cold and his nose is closed. I have played only 2 days and I already have the 3rd best score of all time, seems like not many people have played.

Agreed about the annoying pronunciation, Gomorritis.
I can't believe it has been nearly two months since my last update.
In that time I've done a few Greek Skype lessons, but not much independent study. I was
mostly cramming Swiss German for a trip I made to Switzerland last week. I didn't end
up speaking much beyond "Danke" and "Gruezi" but it did help my comprehension a bit.
I have been using Pimsleur's Swiss German and EuroTalk's
Rhythms Swiss German
I find it quite interesting that immigrants in Switzerland typically learn Hochdeutsch
first and then learn Swiss German. The opposite of how Swiss children learn. I don't
know very much German so I'm quite limited in the materials available to me. It's been
an interesting (but fun) challenge learning without texts.
