Have you picked your language yet? The bot is ready to take your registrations.

For those who are new to the forum: the 6 Week Challenge is a challenge to upgrade your
language skills in one language from beginner to something more worthwhile, and to see
if you can find more time to study languages when competing with other participants in
a global highscore.

6 Week Challenges start on February 1st, May 1st, August 1st and November 1st every
year, so there is a rough 6 weeks on / 6 weeks off pattern.

Note that you can only do the 6 Week Challenge with a language that you're a
beginner or lower-intermediate at most. This allows for a more just comparison
between participants.

The list of registrants / high-score: http://6wc.learnlangs.com

How to register / how to participate: http://6wc.learnlangs.com/howto

Good luck everyone and enjoy!

I'm not sure B1 corresponds to lower-intermediate tbh.
Torn between Croatian and Swedish...

Oh, damn... I hate counting time, but it's time (excuse the quibble).
Signing up with German. But I also will be writing about English, dividing minutes of watching movies with any subs by two, I guess...
But it feels like I should divide all the minutes anyway :D

Thank you, Sprachprofi, for the speedy response. (Sprachprofi replied me in 1 minute! Which is incredible, considering that loading a page alone may take 30 seconds LOL)

I've registered for Portuguese. Here in Australia there are Portuguese documentaries on TV with English subtitles, and I want to be able to follow along, hear the keywords, notice the cognates, etc. I will be using NHK newscast every day. 6 weeks of that should get me there, since I already speak Spanish.

Signing up for my first 6WC! I'll be doing Irish and will primarily be making headway
into Gaeilge Gan StrĂ³ 2. I'm around A1/A2 and hope to solidify my skills and make
progress towards B1.

I decided to sign up with French :)

A quick question: should the bot follow you back? Because I saw that it is following some participants and, if possible, I'd like to be followed so that I won't have to keep my profile public as I had to do during the last round.
