Hello ancpem1. As a fellow Sparta team member I just wanted to wish you a happy new year and lot of success with your studies. I will also follow your progress in Russian. I do that language myself for TAC on an individual basis, but as there are now a few of the Sparta team members who are also on MIR, I will lurk in the shadows of that team.

Hugo's Russian in three months is inexpensive, I suppose, and better than TY or
Colloquial usually. New Penguin Russian Course is the usual choice, but it lacks audio. There's also Princeton course which you can get for free, but I assume you mean something in paper. 1 person has voted this message useful | |

I think there's a list of Russian resources on the front page of the team thread. I know there's lots of free material out there, but Assimil would be a good choice if you can afford it.
