The idea of a journal just occurred to me, so I didn't keep good track of what I did, but I think I L-R (step #3) 'd
about 4 chapters, or 3.3 hours of Harry Potter #4. So far, I've L-R'ed the first three books. I might have skipped the
second, I don't remember. I never liked the second book that much.

I've been L-R'ing a few chapters a day, and then relistening to them (about 3 hours a day) in my car.
I'm having problems with book 4's accent and sound quality. But yeah, I think it's working. I can go back and listen
to HP#1 in my car, which has a clearer accent for me, and enjoy the story , or parts of the story that I can
understand.

Today did not do much. Day off work, did only 2 chapters, or 1.7 hours or LR, chapter 26 & 27 of HP#4. Will get at
least 3 hours of audio in the car tomorrow.

I'll edit this if I do more tonight.
2.3 hours ===== LR'd HP#4 chapters 29, 30, 31, 32
4.4 hours =====At work, in the car, I listened to my very clear (to me) recording of HP#1. I did beginning until
Halloween chapter, minus Diagnon Alley (I think it's funny that Callejon sounds like Diagon--was one of the first
words I picked up on). Total 4.4 hours. But I have to double check that tomorrow. I thought I was only getting 3
hours of listening done a day in the car. Of course I'm not able to concentrate as fully as I'd like.
Notes on my progress: I was having trouble understanding HP#1 without English text, but it feels like it's just
barely above my current level. A lot of the times I felt like I knew a lot of the words, but they just weren't turning
into sentences for me. Other times I'd find myself following along with the story without realizing I was even
listening, and it's also hard to separate how much I'm remembering from English and how much I can understand
from the Spanish--but that's the idea behind LR, to make it understandable, comprehensible.
What felt like a terrible recording of HP#4 two days ago, feels OK and useable today, even though I didn't get much
LR in during my days off work.
