I was thinking of something but it may be too complicated.
Basically it works with pairs: one says the name of a film someone else has to watch and
then writes a synopsis (I'd say at least 100 words) about it, and viceversa.
For example, I tell X to watch "Låt den rätte komma in", and X in turn tells me to watch
"Det finns inga känslor i rymden". By the end of the month we both have to write a
synopsis about the film we've watched.

Looks challenging indeed.
We'd have to be sure we can form pairs for all languages.

A problem is legal availability. We don't want to assume that everybody is pirating
;) It's easier to do for Swedish than for other languages.

What about songs or novels instead of films?
Writing an analysis instead of a synopsis in the
case of songs...
The choice would also be free, but don't choose a
book you've read in the past, the idea is to
combine both input and output.

I don’t know what the challenge is going to be, but, as you say, Swedish is probably the easiest among the languages in our team when it comes to finding legally available content. On the SVT Player right now, for instance, one can watch:
Kamrer Gunnarsson i skärgården: 2-hour film. Available until 19 July 2015.
Torka aldrig tårar utan handskar: drama series in 3 1-hour episodes. Available until 19 July 2015.
Saltön: drama series in 5 1-hour episodes. Available until 30 August 2015.
Någonstans i Sverige: drama series in 7 1-hour episodes. Available until 12 September 2015.
Selambs: drama series in 4 episodes (48-98 minutes). Available until 19 September 2015.
Taxi: drama series in 8 14-minute episodes. Available until 30 October 2015.
Morran och Tobias: comic series in 16 9-minute episodes – First episode is here. Available until 12 December 2015.
Molanders: drama series in 12 44-minute episodes. Available until 21 December 2015.
Låt oss ställa till en scen: comic series in 7 15-minute episodes. Available until 18 January 2016.

How about trying to innovate a bit on the usual song challenge: pick a song of your preference on your TL and explain what you think or feel about that song, what it brings up to you, how it helps understand the culture behind the TL. For the extensive alternative, just pick a song in your TL and study it intensively, paying attention to any grammar form that caught up your attention, or to colloquialisms or abbreviations caused by the need to follow metrics etc. You can SRS the new vocabulary as well.
