Today is the 9th of July, date of the beginning of the Constitutionalist Revolution of 1932 in São Paulo. Since I'm a very proud Paulista, I will give you the pleasure of listening to some traditional songs from the glorious São Paulo State, that is suffering from a massive cultural loss, because of brazilian media and fake "nationalism". Brazil is not only samba and bossa-nova. I hope you enjoy. Anthem of 1932 Tonico e Tinoco - Bandeira Paulista Moda de Rock - Aces High - Iron Maiden - Maiden played with the traditional instrument of música paulista/caipira de raiz, the Viola. Simply amazing. Tião Carreiro e Pardinho - Rio de Lágrimas Tião Carreiro e Pardinho - Rei do Gado Now some rock from SP (and with SP as a theme): 365 - Tietê Ira! - Pobre Paulista - This song is a bit controversial. The lead singer said it's about the military dictature, but many people will say he's talking about the internal migrations in Brazil.
