To be honest, I've found a lot on Usenet ;)
I can sympathize. I was upset this weekend about work and it made it hard to
concentrate. Things are better now though.

I'm glad to hear that things are better with you. Things are better for me too; today I did my solid hour. 43 minutes of new vocabulary and 17 minutes of reading news online.
Good day!

Yesterday was a great day; an hour total of straight-up vocab.
Having said that, I'm going to reduce my study time for the next few weeks (at least).
I put a lot of thought into it, so this is not a decision that I'm making hastily. I forgot who it was who first made the differentiation between "urgent" and "important". In any event, all activities can fit into one of four categories:
1-urgent and important
2-not urgent and important
3-urgent and not important
4-not urgent and not important
Language learning is a classic case of "not urgent and important" (assuming that you really do want to learn the language). No one is going to yell at you or notice if you don't do your studies on a given day, but it is important that you do so. Basically, you want to spend your time doing important things, with "urgent and important" taking priority due to the time factor.
I'm satisfied that the stuff I replace my language learning with is both urgent and important. I have lots of school stuff to do, and if it means delaying my goals re: Italian (which I hope not to do) in order to achieve them, so much the worse for Italian.
So the new rule is to commit to 30 minutes a day, five days a week. Today I will not be studying Italian.

Did half an hour of vocabulary today; I had average amounts of energy and enthusiasm.
I really hope that I can get on top of my school stuff soon; I want to focus on Italian as much as I can!

Alright! Did over half an hour of vocab today and just for fun listened to some more Italian rap.
Note on the vocab: the book is divided into "basic" and "advanced" (more like non-basic) vocab; right now I'm just doing the basic. I'll do the advanced later.

Today I tried studying more vocab... for about 10 seconds. Then I listened to another chapter of Alice and Wonderland and listened to a lot of Italian rap

Well they say that fun native language materials are the best way to learn.
Personally I think a native girl is probably the best material :D
Vhat are you using for vocabulary?
