Italian,
I've been listening to lots of podcasts, reading my Italian Vanity Fair (the "Italian Vogue" from an earlier post was a mistake), and did the 2nd lesson in my grammar book. I did fall behind on my anki review, but started it up again yesterday... Since I'm not adding any more words at the moment, I should catch up soon
German,
In a busy week, this is what sort of got left behind. I'm thinking that I'll be able to do better next week.
Pimlseur 10 (did first 10 minutes twice): 36 mins
Pimlseur 11: 26 mins
Total time: 1343.5 minutes

Did Pimlseur 12 right after writing my previous post. :)

Do you only make use of Pimsleur during your German studies? Any native materials?

That's right, I'm only using Pimsleur for now... I'm using lots of authentic materials for Italian, though.
The excuse used to be that German was just complete gibberish anyway, so listening / reading it would have just been an exercise in frustration and a waste of time. But after reading your question, maybe I will start listening to a bit of "natural" German for the sake of getting used to the natural language.
Hmmm... Maybe that "German news read slowly" podcast would be a good halfway house here! I'm sure that I can find it... Do you have any suggestions? The last thing I want is rapid-fire German with lots of weird vocabulary.
Your question definitely gave me some food for thought!
Anyway, formally:

I found that the podcast you mention above was so slow that it hindered comprehension. I'd recommend Annik Rubens' "Slow German" instead, but it's certainly worth trying both.

You can find the slowly read German news on dw-world.de. I prefer Annik Rubens though. And Pukka German is also quite hilarious.

Thank you to both; I wasn't aware of the Annik Ruben podcast. I did listen to the slow newscast yesterday, and I though that it was worth doing on a daily basis, even though I didn't understand much. :)
Italian,
Same ol', same ol'... but today I was lazy; I didn't incorporate the new words from the articles I read into my anki list. But on the list of "deadly language sins", it's pretty minor. ;) Listened to about 50 minutes worth of podcasts while going to and fro
German,
As I mentioned, I listed the the slow newscast. Twice, in fact. I also needed to re-do Pimlseur 13. So...
Pimsleur 13: 24.5 minutes
