I found a couple threads that discussed completing the Spanish FSI Programmatic program and then working through the FSI Spanish Basic program afterwards (in my case I will have Platiquemos). Is there any benefit to doing this, or is it too much? I plan on completing Michel Thomas, Pimsleur 1-3, Learning Spanish Like Crazy 1-2 and some Rosetta Stone throw in before finally getting to Platiquemos. Would there be any benefit to doing Programmatic or is it just overkill?
Thanks!

Overkill as far as the number of language learning programs. If any of them don't turn you on, skip them. If you like Programmatic Spanish, then add it, even if you are going to do FSI Basic Spanish (or Platiquemos, which is pretty much the same as Basic). Of course, if you don't like Programmatic, then don't do it.

I think Rosetta Stone will be axed outside of being a quick vocab builder. Michel Thomas is quick and easy and I hope to finish in the next week or two. Outside of that, I have the following options:
-Pimsleur
-LSLC
-Programmatic
-Platiquemos
I'll end up skipping another and completing three. Any thoughts on which of the four above are best suited as the next step for a beginner with only MT under their belt?

LSLC 1 and 2 will take you to a good level to start Platiquemos. The early dialogues contain material that hasn't
been taught yet (me dijeron que serian dos), which you'll know from LSLC. I think if one just dived into
Platiquemos these would be confusing.

Hi Alan,
Looks like you did not get your repuesta. Anyway. En mi opinion, don't waste your time anymore with pimsleur and the like. get serious about platiquemos and buy the book repaso. use repaso at each cooresponding nievel in platiquemos. TRUST ME...
