Reading Amazon reviews, I understand that "The Ultimate Spanish Review and Practice" book (Ronni Gordon) is exactly the same material as the Repaso text, but cost half as much. It doesn't have the exercises in Repaso, but Repaso has no answer key for them anyway, and you'd have to buy that separately. Also, it may not match Platiquemos' references to Repaso sections, but if you want to spend double for that, go ahead.
I got the Ultimate book long ago, and it was very nicely done with clear concise explanations and examples. However, like a lot of stuff I have, it's collecting dust someplace unused. ;-)

I looked at this book after you mentioned it: The Ultimate Spanish Review and Practice
I'd go ahead with this, it comes w/ a CD and is essentially the same as Repaso.

Don't forget The Ultimate Spanish Verb Review and Practice by the same author. I like it because it is explained in English, and has tons of supplemental practice to complement Platiquemos.
