For me is not sexy at all. Not when they speak English not when they try to speak Spanish. But... To hear any female anchorwoman in BBC turns me on a lot more than any "adult movie".

Well I've never really heard that an American accent was sexy in another language, but when I was in Hawaii I had a guy who spoke Pigeon and thought that my "proper English" was very sexy and told me never to start talking like a local. I do think most people have heard American English too much too think it is sexy.

As a child I adored American accents, since I associated them with the "exciting" lifestyles portrayed in magazines and newspapers. Nowadays, most American accents make me cringe. I have (to my shame) sometime caught myself from correcting Americans on their pronunciation. I blame myself, though, for having become intolerant. After all, few people choose their accent, and few have the drive to change it.

Depends on the person and what type of accent he speaks with.
Some American accents sound terrible to me but some are very attractive.
The sexiest English accent is South African though. :-) Anyone agrees?
As in tanned ZA rugby player!

One more thing; when it comes to American English I'd say that the speech patterns, expressions and grammar are just as noticeable as the accent. Some American expressions are very cool / useful, others are incredibly irritating and almost makes me very suspicious of the person the minute someone uses them.

I would imagine it varies from person to person (and accent to accent); for some,
irritating, for another, charming (if only temporarily). I've been told by a friend that
it's cute when I speak Hindi and other girls would agree, but I'm not getting my hopes
up... And of course I think it's important to make the distinction between speaking with
an American accent and simply speaking with incorrect pronunciation. But in any case, I
think my accent is pretty cringe-worthy!
Personally, an Indian accent drives me crazy (in a good way!) and I love Spanish and
Arabic accents.

I think part of the problem with Americans, and Anglophones generally, is that on average we speak foreign languages very poorly. Most heavy accents sound bad in any language and most Anglophones speak foreign languages with very heavy accents. That said, a light English accent in German or, especially, French (two languages I know well enough to judge) can sound extremely pleasant. Leaving myself out of it (I'm not convinced my accent is particularly charming), I've run into a few Anglophones in Switzerland who have beautiful French accents.
