I've been busy getting the place ready for the movers. Removing the wallpaper has proven to be quite a chore. I haven't had the chance to do any writing. I'm working tomorrow and the next day, so I don't see me writing until the weekend. I got my two Kanzen Master books for level 2. I spent the evening going over unknown words. I worked through the first five points in the grammar/vocabulary book. It looks like there's 173 points -- long way to go! The listening book also looks really great.. I still have to read over what it's about...

Sadly, I haven't been able to look at my new books this weekend. I've run into some problems with time being ehm,...somewhat short. There aren't enough hours in the day. Boxes everywhere, bad back, wallpaper woes..., But a bit of yoga and a bit of careful planning and it will all work out.
I'm working through words 118-235 of the JLPT2 list. Going down the list and writing kanji, referencing words. Not that much fun -- but I need words. It will take a few months of being totally consistent if it's going to work. Consistency and I have never really been friends. We'll see what happens...

スンジャさん、
私も日本語を勉強しています。 listening quizウエブサイトは聞いたばかりです。 一 便利ですねぇ。 日本人が速く話すと、 く事が分かりにくいです。
私もJLPT2の単語を暗記します。 頑張 りましょう。

ganbaru~! \('O')/
I worked 45 minutes with Kanzen Master.
JLPT2 list, words 354-412, looked up some example sentences for some of the words. I went over the words from the previous days.
Copied one dialog from the JPLT2 listening quizes (prev.link)
Copied the sentences for 5 of the grammar points from the Kanzen Master book on grammar.

yesterday:
Quiz 2 from the listening quizes. (Listened, did the quiz and copied the script using the scriptorium technique.)
worked through grammar points 13-15 Kanzen Master
Listened to the CD to my blue book and tried to visualize the missed kanji from the sentences I wrote yesterday from Step 1.
Went over some vocab (I listened to the words)
Today: Quiz 3, then I did Quiz 4 as well, since I've been over it already once before...
I'm still planning on doing Step 2 from the green book, and hopefully I can work through to the last grammar point 15-18 of the blue book, which requires looking up a bunch of kanji I don't know and then copying the sentence and then reading it outloud. Hopefully I can print out some new vocabulary, too. I have until 12:00 to get most of it done, because I'm booked after that...
12:00 -- lunch, Termin, Sport, work until -- 8:00.

Finally... I got my computer back this morning.
Two weeks before we were scheduled to move the computer gave out. The last time I logged in here it crashed immediately and it was four hours until I could get back in to log out. (Too many updates over the years tapped out the processor.) We decided to have it fixed but had to pack it up and concentrate on the move first.
"The move". What an ordeal that was --- and still is --- there's a lot that has to be done to turn an old house into a new home. My log entries will be interspersed with anecdotes of painting, plumbing, plastering, planting. As it is there's somebody coming over any minute now to fix the Kaltwasserventil. I'm afraid it's been extremely difficult to do any language study. We live farther away from the city and still haven't gotten used to driving around from this new location. That plus renovations have taken up all of my free time. Slowly things are starting to settle down. Now that our computer is back up I'll start logging in again. I still have to work out a study time.
The plan is to start over with my new Kanzen Master books -- I'd only gotten through the first section anyway. I can finally use my link for listening practice again, which I've really missed.
With all the new changes getting started again will be a bit rough. There's always that degree of self-doubt that I may only be able to reach a plateau. I'm hoping that won't be the case and that I'll continue to move forward. I have to work tonight, but I really don't want to let another day go by without studying. How ever small the attempt may be, I'll log back in tonight with something to report.
EDIT: it appears that after 30 minutes with the new hardware updates there's still a few technical problems to iron out. (I think we'd better invest in that new modem as well...) At any rate, at the risk of having spoken too soon, things will eventually settle down and will study. Even if I have to keep my log going by using a crayon and a used letter envelope this TAC will continue!

Only until I deleted all the cookies in my new browser was I able to log in again. *whew*. Everything seems to be in order for the moment...
I went over the first 18 points of Kanzen Master. I had to relearn everything since the material was completely new before. I won't do any more reading tonight. Work has pretty much drained me of whatever energy I had left from the day. I need some quick inspiration so I think I'll check out a (Japanese) film and put off any more hardcore grammar study until tomorrow morning.

A spray bottle filled with warm water helps to remove wallpaper. Some people recommend adding white vinegar if the adhesive is not coming off easily :)
