Yes, I have fallen, if I ever was mighty.
I moved house a few months back, and I was without an internet connection for a while, so I began to neglect most things online. I have internet at home now, but I'm currently extremely busy with university, so I don't have much time for anything outside of that. Anyway, languages. I'm still studying Russian actively at university (well, actively enough to keep on top of the classwork), and I intend to keep going with it. I've been keeping up my Esperanto where I can, and I could still hold a decent conversation in the language, but this isn't something I've done for a while. I've also been trying to keep up my Japanese, but this is a challenge when it isn't at a usable level yet, as I can't easily keep my skills up by reading. I've let kanji slide a bit, but otherwise, I think, retained the majority of what I learnt, but my knowledge isn't as active as it used to be. I do intend to resurrect my Japanese at some point, probably in the holidays. As usual I have a few languages still on my waiting list, but they'll stay there for a good while now. 1 person has voted this message useful | |
