Probably sticking to something - like an activity, idea or cause - through adversity. "Stick-to-it-ness".

Jewish (what I would generally call myself even though my ancestry is Slavic)
I searched stereotypes on Wikipedia:
Jews are still stereotyped as greedy, nit-picky, stingy misers who are focused on money.
They're often depicted having curly hair, large hooknoses, lips and wearing kippahs.
And to say the rest: Jews often put Yiddish expressions such as "Oy vey!" into their everyday speech (being raised
partially in Yiddish, I sometimes use a Yiddish word that I nostalgically remember), or using Hebrew expressions
such as "Mazel Tov", or "Shalom".
I remember as a child, some people were not especially nice towards my friends and I as we would walk home
from Hebrew school. We would probably be holding our books (study materials, prayer books, etc.), and all of us
would still be wearing our yarmulkes (we always forgot to take them off). There would be kids hanging out with
their friends here and there on the side of the sidewalk or on the school's playground (Hebrew school was
usually on weekdays for us and some kids hung around after school). Kids would drop coins, taunting us and
telling us to pick them up. Being anti-semitic was looked upon disdainfully, but some kids had been influenced
by their parents who, regardless of how it would look, talked about Jewish people in such a way in front of their
children. This was no doubt done in the home, but it showed plenty in their children. It was really just bullying.
There were usually no adults around to stop it, but it still happened. So I hope this little digression helps people
understand the usual stereotypes of Jewish people. You cannot say that it is my nationality, but I am not
ethnically German, so the stereotypes for that would be inappropriate to attribute to me.
