Update:
Basic grammar done. I have to do some repetition.
I now have a complete wordlist for Albă ca zapada and have translated it - or at least tried to. But i understood minimum 85% of it. And i learned a lesson. DO NOT TRANSLATE FAIRY TALES as your first text! They are usually in the past tense... -.- so veeeeery annoying when you'r only learning the basic grammar.
Tomorrow I will look at the biblia pentru copii - the bible for kids. Hopefully the grammar is more newbie-friendly.
Goodnight from denmark 01:08 in the morning.

Today I read the first page of "Biblia pentru copii", The bible for kids, I bought in Romania, and translated it into Danish. I guess most of you don't speak Danish that well - but I would like some response anyway - so I made another one i English, but it kinda' suck I believe.
This is my first "real" translation so please feel free to beat me up for bad grammar, literally (just in case som nutcase reads this), so I can learn more.
Here we go:
Istoria poporului lui Dumnezeu
Vechiul testament
men tingene begyndte at begynde at gå dårligt,
Han forberedte en frelsesplan for dem.
Gud udvalgte et menneske,
og gennem ham, et folk,
og fra det folk fødtes verdenens Frelser
Biblen indeholder en samling af imponerende beretninger.
De forbliver, ikke desto mindre, i en eneste bog.
Gods peoples story
Old testament.
We begin with the beginning
before the earth was created.
I the beginning was only God.
He created the earth and all which can be found on it.
He created the first human,
but the things started to start to go bad,
He prepared a plan of salvation for them.
God choose a man,
and through him, a people,
and from this people the saviour of the world was born.
The bibel contains a collection of impressive stories.
They remain, none the less, in one single book.

Aaaanother translation in Romanian, Danish and English. Please fell very free to correct anything! ;-)
This sentence could need som help in the translations:
Først, i alle tings begyndelse, Gud skabte vores jord. Han skabte solen, for at lyse dagen, månen og stjernerne nætterne. Han lavede himlen, landet og havet.
Gud lavede himmelens fugle, fiskene som svømmer i vand og dyrerne på det tørre land. Derefter, Gud så i omgivelser på alt det hvad han skabte og så at alt det var meget godt. Jorden den var forberedt mennesker, så, efter alt var skabt, skabte Gud dem, Adam, Eva, den første mand og første kvinde.
Beføre, in the beginning of all things, God created our earth. He created the sun, to shine/light up the day, the moon and the stars the nights. He created the sky, the land and the sea.
God made the birds and the sky, the fishes that swims in water and the animals on the dry land. Then, God saw in surroundings on all which he created and saw that alt it was very good. The earth it was prepared for humans, so , after all was created, God created them, Adam, Eva, the first man and the first woman.
And thats it. Not the best - but it is my 2. go at translating. :)

How do I translate?
- Make a word list with every single noun, verb, adverb, etc.. (Words like şi, pentru, în, ca, etc. I do not add)
- Translate every single word (hopefully) using the correct article, conjugation, etc.
- Read the word list
- Translate the text into danish WITHOUT using the word list (as much as possible)
- (Upload on how-to-learn-any-language.com and hope someone can and will point out some errors ;-))
I sure hope this will work for me... I see my improvement already, but I'm just wondering: Is there a better way?

Vorherre kiggede omkring sig på alt som han havde skabt, og han så at alt var såre godt.
Verden [ikke jorden] var parat til menneskene, således at Vorherre, efter at have* skabt* alting, OGSÅ skabte dem: den første mand og den første kvinde.
* Here Romanian uses a compound perfect, where Danish uses a plusquamperfectum or - as here - a construction with an infinitive
However these things are all small details, - your translation is generally good (but there are a few minor errors in the English version)

This one took forever. I have been sitting here from 19:10, and now it is 22:25, translating this, and it is not that good - I did some guessing. But it was great fun :)
I'm wasting so much time these (holi)days, and it's a shame. So I'll do something about it and go make some flashcards - now!
Here's my translation. Feel free to use it, correct it - or/and even better, give me some response ;-)
God trusted them with the world (thank you Iversen), to take care of plants and trees, of birds, of fish and of all the other animals. They were also granted a fantastic place where they should live. There refreshing rivers ran and shading trees was growing, full of good fruit to eat. The place, beautiful as a garden, was called Eden.
