*Tagalog - NO Tagalog today

*French - 2hrs

FIA 49-52

Observations: I am so happy that I finished the whole FIA course, using my determination and focus, as well as
motivating myself through this logbook. To be honest, I hadn't ever finished a self-study language course on my
own, because I would start and not finish. I really believe that having this logbook as well as giving plenty of time
to the language of French enabled me to focus on it and make massive progress each day. Now onto new goals
for French.

je suis tres fiere!

-Matthew

Goals

Tagalog: I watch 2 hours of Tagalog films everyday, and I read a passage from the "Mga Kwento sa Biblia para sa
mga Bata" everyday.

**The amount of hours for Tagalog will change to 1 hour per day as my circumstances change and I move to my
posting in Bangladesh

French: I listen and study 3 hours of the Michel Thomas Basic French Course everyday.

After being very successful in both Tagalog and French by having completed my small goals, I have gained a new
air of confidence to do long-term planning, and creating a list of small goals that I aim to complete in the long-
term, and thereby achieving and maintaining fluency for myself in both languages.

The Plans for Tagalog and French will have numbered smaller goals contained within them. This numbering
reflects the order in which I will complete the goals, progressively improving myself and refining my skills.

Of course I will be open and flexible to change these plans as I go along, but for now it's great to have some
