Epicurean = English for a person who really enjoys life, based on the name of an Greek philosopher named Έπίκουρος.

"livsnyder" = Danish (a person who enjoys life, effectively the same thing as an Epicurean without too high philosophical pretentions).

... I just thought that Epic.. in French and Epic... in the philosophical sense. But to make amends here you have the philosophical term in French: Épicuréen
